Michael Landon has been a part of my "television life" ever since I can remember.

As a child, my entire family would watch Bonanza. It was one of the few shows that everyone agreed upon. My brother and father were drawn to the rough, tough shoot 'em up parts, while my mother and I were drawn to the tender, sentimental parts.

By the time Little House was in its third or fourth season, I was in college. Whatever else was going on, the girls in my dorm always came together to pop some popcorn and watch the weekly episode. We went through plenty of tissues.

Highway to Heaven was during my years of building my career and starting my family. I felt I could relate to many of the episodes and enjoyed it tremendously.

Now, my teenage daughter and I enjoy watching reruns of Little House shows every evening while we make dinner. She read the books in elementary school and we both enjoy sharing the touching stories now. We've started collecting the Little House Seasons on DVD. I don't think we'll ever get tired of watching them.

What a wonderful gift Michael Landon has given to me, my family, and all his fans over the years. I hope he knew how much he was loved!

I watched Little House as a child and Christmas 2006 my husband bought me season 1. My 2 year old daughter and I became hooked and have continued to buy season 2 and 3 and will keep buying them. Michael Landon was a true legend and just reading his biography brings tears to my eyes.

Hello, I wanted to say a few things about Michael Landon and what is legacy means to me. I have to say that he has to be one of the best if not the best actor on television today. I remember growing up watching Little House and then Highway to Heaven with the one and only Victor French. I love the both of them and I know our loss is Heavens gain. Michael and Victor both will be sorely missed by all but there dedication and love for the television business will live on in our hearts and television sets forever. I want to send a heartfelt condolence to all the family members to both of these fine actors.
