I didn't have a father when I was a little boy. Michael Landon's work on Little House taught me how a man should be strong and courageous and still gentle, kind and sensitive. I secretly wished that he could be my "Pa." Being African-American, I loved and longed as I celebrated and lamented, simultaneously, the events depicted in the episode with Todd Bridges. I was a foster child about Todd's age at the time. And, boy did I ever feel that I could be Todd. This show was more than just a show. It was a life experience, thanks to the God-touched brilliance of this rare man, Michael Landon. I still miss him. Thanks for giving me the chance to share.

Michael Landon lives on in my home with each Bonanza and Little House showing. Though I did not know Michael Landon, he does have a special place in my heart. When life gets too crazy, I turn on a Little House episode. It works every time! Helps to put life into perspective. With a laugh, a tear, or a feeling of serenity, Michael's messages are good for the soul. You are missed!

I loved watching Michael on Little House on the Prairie and Highway to Heaven. He was very good in both shows. I still watch him as Charles Ingalls on Little House today; wishing to have a dad like him calling me Half-Pint. The girls in my dorm and I loved watching Little House on the Prairie and I would tell the ones who couldn't see what was going on. The Little House theme song is still in my head whenever I watch the show. Michael, you were great and you're still a star from up in Heaven.

I was a young girl at the start of Bonanza. My father was watching and I saw this intriguing young man. He was a wonderful young actor, and very handsome too. He played his role perfectly. I watched every episode thereafter, but only because of Michael, I really didn't like the show. There was just something about him that would draw you close. I was devastated when he died. The world was a much better place with him in it. Thank you for listening to me.
