More comments about what Michael Landon and his work or legacy have meant to people

I truly appreciate your project. I cannot believe Michael has been gone 15 years. I am ashamed to admit it, however growing up I didn't fully appreciate Michael. I watched Bonanza, but didn’t fully appreciate Little House and Highway until years later, after I myself became a father of 5 and began to appreciate what Michael brought to families via television.

Michael was and is a shining example of what we can be if we only put forth a little effort. The fact that all 3 of his series continue to be broadcast is a testament in and of itself.

I love Little House for giving an example of what a Father, Pa, should and can be.

Above all, I cherish Highway for its humanity and telling us that anyone can make a difference, one person and act at a time.

Whenever I am watching something, and come across a Michael Landon program, its Michael's show I always watch, regardless of how many times I may have seen it.

Michael means honesty, decency, and humanity. Michael would have been 70 this year, regardless of age and how long he has been gone, he is timeless.

As the Highway DVD's have come out, I have been buying them. My children very often join me in watching, they have become as hooked as I am. A while back while I was watching Highway on a rainy day, my 7 year old daughter joined me. After the episode she asked me, "Daddy, where is the Angel now?" What a tough question, and I responded, "the angel finished his work and God brought him back to heaven, now it's up to us to finish his work." This would be the greatest tribute to Michael.

I’ve really been a fan of Michael’s for as long as I can remember. I think I might have seen "Look Back To Yesterday" the first time it aired. And ever since I thought what a very special person Michael was and still is every time I see him on TV or think of him. Like right now for example. He put a special quality in each of his works that instilled good values in all of us who have the chance to enjoy it. The world could use more of his influence than can be described. He will always be considered a great person.
