Hello -
I’ve been thinking all summer of how to put into words the role that Michael Landon has played in my life. I'm 40 years old and grew up with Little House on the Prairie. My brother who is 37 and his family of 5 have all of the episodes and watch them religiously and I still watch the episodes where I can find them on television - through TV Land, the Hallmark channel and sometimes local networks. They always put a smile on my face and offer solitude after a long day of work. My husband has now seen all of the episodes and I'll catch him watching over my shoulder when he thinks I'm not looking. I wanted to send my appreciation to Michael and his family for the dedication and sacrifices made to provide the public with the much needed wholesome programming our society so desperately needs. The hours Michael spent away from his family to bring the rest of the world heartfelt programming has not been taken for granted but is greatly appreciated. I am just so sorry that his life was cut short and we missed out on many more years of his work. However, God must have needed him to do very special work in heaven. Thank you again for your sacrifices and know that your family continues to be in our hearts and prayers. God Bless.

I fell in love with “Little Joe” when I was twelve years old and Michael became a very important part of my life. Now I am 51 and he is more important to me, my life, my personality, than ever. Even though he doesn’t walk on this earth any more, he is my guardian angel. He is with me at all times. Whenever I need support I ask him for help and he says: You can do it! And I can...
Michael will be in my heart forever.
My very best wishes to his family.

Michael has always been an inspiration to me. His courage and positive attitude in life, and the messages he gave in the shows he created always had an impact on my life and sometimes even the way I looked at and handled different situations. He made you stop and think! And still does today, even though he's gone. Michael really left his mark on this earth and will never be forgotten. Even though I never knew him personally, I miss him and his presence. But in some ways it feels like he is still with us, for he left so much behind for us, so that we could always keep him close. My heart goes out to his family, for it was they who suffered the greatest of all at his loss. Just know that we will Love You Forever Michael!!
