To Michael Landon's Family,
My name is Connie O. and I am from and live in Cincinnati, Ohio. I just wanted to let you know just how much Michael touched my life with his extraordinary film and television career. I still watch Little House, Bonanza and Highway to Heaven at age 48. I can vividly remember watching Bonanza which included laughter and then Little House which included crying with my mom after each Little House episode. I still cry to this day. My mother died in January 1982 and my fondest memories of her are watching Michael in his television shows. My mother never lived to watch Highway to Heaven and I know we would have shared a love of that series also.
I include Michael in my prayers every night, along with Elvis Presley, Richard Crenna, Jerry Orbach and Carroll O'Connor. I thank God for their ever lasting memory on film, past and future, because they are all still alive in my heart.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to share your dad and husband for all of these years. I was on my way to work the morning I heard he had died, so suddenly, because it hadn't been that long since he held a press conference telling us fans he had pancreatic cancer. It stunned and upset me so much I had to go back home and took the day off work. His death is still so real, but I thank Jesus Christ we all had him as long as we did.
Thank you so much. Michael, you are still missed. Someday I believe I will be able to shake the hands of those mentioned in this message, along with my parents and other relatives. THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL MEMORIES. YOU ARE ALWAYS IN MY HEART.

My wife, Karen, and I have just moved from our home in the bush of Far North Queensland, all the way down to the Gold Coast in Southern Queensland, 3500 klms. We have left family, friends, home, gardens and even our Galah to enable me to take up my new spot as Sergeant of Police. We are feeling a bit devastated and alone at the moment; something like the Ingalls family must have felt. To make ourselves feel a little better we watch an episode of Little House on the Prairie every night. It’s beautiful and made with such love and tenderness. Michael must have known his skill would touch so many for so long. Even now in 2007 it uplifts Karen and I even on our dark days. Thanks Michael, Melissa, Melissa Sue, Karen and the twins for your wonderful portrayals.
Cheers,
Christopher N.
