I had the pleasure of meeting Michael Landon around 1960. I was just in the second grade and he did a telethon in our city. Our family went to meet him. My obsession with Bonanza began then. He entertained the world and was adored as Little Joe.
It was sad when Bonanza ended but then Michael gave us Little House. I still can cry at an episode after seeing them many, many times. Our children have grown up loving Little House and Pa Ingalls. There have never been any shows as moral and high quality as Bonanza and Little House.
I have the Ponderosa Party CDs and love listening to Michael singing. He gave so much and is still loved. He will always be in the hearts of his fans. Thank you, Michael!

I would like to let Michael Landon's family know what his shows and his life meant to me. I grew up watching Little House on the Prairie and watching the reruns today reminds me of the lessons in life that Michael wanted us to learn and remember in Little House on the Prairie. Highway to Heaven was also a favorite of mine. It made me wish we all had an angel with us all the time. It is still hard to believe that Michael has been gone for 16 years but he is alive in his shows - Bonanza, Little House on the Prairie and Highway to Heaven. He was a wonderful man and he will always be one of my favorite actors.

I began to watch Michael in the TV series Bonanza when I was a young girl. It was love at first sight. I couldn’t miss an episode. After Bonanza ended, I followed Michael’s career and watched him on Little House on the Prairie and Highway to Heaven. I bought magazines and collected notes and photos. It was like that since the first moment, in my heart. My dream was to know him in person, to travel to his country and meet my idol, but I was never able to do it. Today, I am thankful that the Internet offers us the possibility of sharing videos, photos, biographies, histories, and the opportunity to share our passion for who we admire.
I want to say a special thank you to Gabriel, who made it possible for my words to arrive here, to Maria Cristina and Nequiten, who are the founders of the Ingalls Family Fan Club in Argentina, and to Michael, who will be forever illuminating my heart. Thanks Michael for being part of my life! Now I can say that I remember him with a smile.
