Michael Landon made a very lasting impression on my life. I've always loved all of his works. I think the reason that he made such a lasting impression on so many people is he made movies & shows with family values in a time when other movie makers where seeing how far they could push the limits away from family values. His works were shows that families could watch together. In fact, his shows made such an impact on my attitude and my life that I have told my family for years that when I pass away, I want a portion of the poem from "Remember Me" on my tombstone. It says it all perfectly.
If You Can Only Remember Me With Tears,
Then Don't Remember Me At All.
I would also like to take time to recognize his family for supporting him and loving him and allowing him to be the great man that he was!!!

Michael est mon idole depuis des années. Je l'ai découvert dans Bonanza, où son personnage de P'tit Joe malin, rusé, de petit dernier de la famille souvent en révolte, m'a comblé pendant des années. Il excellait dans ce rôle, où il était tour à tour amoureux, peiné, adorable ou bon petit diable. Physique absolument parfait, de toute beauté! Puis La Petite Maison dans la Prairie...que dire là aussi! un régal, un extrême bonheur devant une telle puissance dans l'interprétation du personnage de Charles Ingalls. Vraiment un grand bonhomme qui reste à jamais dans nos mémoires, tellement vrai et tellement vivant! Bon anniversaire Mike!

Michael has been my idol for years. I discovered him on Bonanza, where his character of Little Joe, cunning, shrewd, the youngest of the family often in revolt, has overwhelmed me for years. He excelled in this role, where he was all at once loveable, troubled, or just a little devil. Absolutely physically perfect, a total beauty! Then Little House on the Prairie...let's talk about that too! Regal and extremely good natured faced with the strength (complexity) of the interpretation of the character of Charles Ingalls. Truly a great gentleman who will always remain in our memories...always real...always alive. Happy Birthday Mike!
