Michael Landon had a compassionate and reflective acting style that set him apart from so many others. For me, Michael's best work was Highway to Heaven. His story writing showed class, humanity and kindness, something that is surely missed in today's society. The episode ‘Wally’ touched me the most. When Wally asked Jonathan Smith "How, how can you be so sure" referring to GOD and Heaven Jonathan Smith replies because I've touched the face of GOD. Well, Michael Landon has now touched the face of GOD. I'm sure GOD is proud and pleased with the work and legacy Michael Landon gave to us.
We miss Michael Landon's class and brilliant Acting/Directing/Writing but we thank him for the years he spent with us.

Dear Family of Michael Landon,
My name is Susanne (34) and I have been a fan of Michael Landon for ages. The TV series Little House on the Prairie especially means a lot to me. You can realize how much love and work Michael Landon put into this television series and his other movies. With Little House on the Prairie, I associate family, love, security, hope, faith in God and you can take a lot of it for your own life. Michael Landon was an exceptional person.
Dear Family of Michael Landon, I wish you all the best and God bless you.

Michael Landon once said that he believed in God, family, truth between people, and the power of love and to his credit he created shows that expressed those beliefs in heartwarming and inspiring ways. While some of his shows made me laugh and some made me cry, they all made me think and feel something. My favorite episodes were usually ones that were written and directed by Michael. That is why as great an actor as I think Michael was I believe he was an even greater writer and director.
Michael’s legacy will forever be the high-quality wholesome family television shows he left behind for all of us to enjoy and be inspired by. I think his work will always be relevant because he was very smart in selecting themes and issues to explore in his shows that are by their very nature timeless and for that I am very grateful.
Thank you, Michael, for all your efforts in creating such wonderful shows. You are truly missed.
