Little House on the Prairie has been part of my life and upbringing since I was a little boy, as today I am 46 years old. Michael Landon’s directing and description of everyday problems as well as big philosophic questions of what’s right and what’s wrong was a part of my childhood and today I still take the time to look at the re-reruns of the series, as it brings me memories of my late loving mother and father (whom I recently lost) and because it’s one of the few remaining things keeping me remembering that this world still is a wonderful place to live. Michael Landon made a difference to the world - I know, because he made me a better person, so I believe deep in my heart! IMO Michael Landon - May God be with him!

I followed his career throughout my life and watched him on Johnny Carson the night he was on to show the world he was fighting for his life. His legacy of good, clean, fun, television has no match in the world today.

Michael has been my idol ever since I saw him in action as Little Joe on Bonanza. He was a very super man who is always in my heart. Michael, you have a very important place in my life.

I still miss Michael Landon, although he has been gone since 1991. Michael was a great actor, but he was even a better person. Michael Landon should still be alive. I feel he died way too young and had more to offer.

All of Michael Landon's series have meant a lot to me, my husband and my family. We certainly appreciate all of the series as wholesome TV that we can enjoy with our children and never have to worry about the content. In fact, we are proud of the content of these series and that is not something that can be said very often. We sincerely hope his family, including Michael Landon Jr. who has recently made some wonderful Christian movies, will be proud of his legacy. We are pleased to have watched such a fine man/actor/writer/producer/director, etc. over the years and will continue to enjoy his work and share it with future generations of our family.
