I grew up with Michael as my father, my own father was an alcoholic and very abusive, so I learned how to handle conflicts, how to stand up for what is right, and how to laugh and enjoy life through watching Pa on Little House on the Prairie.

MY PERSONAL TRIBUTE TO THE MICHAEL LANDON I LOVE THE BEST (with apologies to Webster/Livingstone)
"They ask how much we need you, must I explain.
We need you oh dear Michael, like roses need rain.
They ask how long we'll love you, I'll tell you true.
Until the 12th of Never we'll still be loving you.
We'll love you till the blue bells forget to bloom.
We'll love you till the clover has lost its perfume.
We'll love you till the poets run out of rhyme.
Until the 12th of Never and that's a long long time."
Sweet dreams forever Little Joe.

Years ago I watched Bonanza and he was so good as ‘Little Joe’. When the series Little House on the Prairie originally aired on television, I was very busy, working and raising two wonderful children. Consequently, I really never got to sit down and watch every episode. I had watched enough of the episodes though that I became a big Michael Landon fan. For over a year now I have been diligently watching Little House on TVLand. I try not to miss an episode. In my opinion Little House on the Prairie is a five star quality family series, with high moral values, and I love the series.
I don't really think there will ever again be anyone like Michael Landon. The outstanding skills in acting, writing, directing and production that Michael exhibited will never be duplicated. The family value programs seem to be a thing of the past as the years go by. When Michael died I was very sad. He was a person I would have loved to have known. Michael you are missed.
