Michael Landon was my hero when I was a young girl. I lived on a windswept Island off Tasmania, Australia and would dream of him coming and taking me away from all that. I would have been about 14 years old because that was about the time we first got a TV set. I now have the privilege of watching him again on Foxtel (Pay TV). I hope to see Highway to Heaven again, as we only get Bonanza and Little House. Michael Landon had a real heart for families and it came out in his shows.

He will always hold a special place in my heart and it is a shame we don't have more shows like that these days.

We are proud to be able to thank Michael Landon and his family for many years of good family TV shows and films that he has been in or was the main person who made it possible to enjoy through his directing with his mind and soul, love and kindness to other people on the sets.

My family and I have watched shows and films from and with him in them for many years. It has helped us go through some hard times we have had. He and all the people that worked with him on Little House on the Prairie (in Germany, Unsere Kleine Farm) was a blessing from god. I think he tried very much also to give god thanks through his work on that show and with the series where he works as an Angel also.

But it did not matter in what TV show or film you saw him in it was always fun and with heart. He also worked for years in the TV show Bonanza with Lorne Greene, which I saw as a kid, and then in many very good TV shows and films after that.

God Bless his family and friends for having such a loving and caring with heart and soul Father, Husband and a very good Friend.

Michael Landon and his work was truly an inspiration to me and my family. I thank him for the heartfelt work he has created and that will live on forever. I loved it when I was young and still very much enjoy it as an adult with my 3 sons.
