Michael Landon was one of television’s last great actor and legend. The beauty of Michael Landon's composition is a mix of elements not found in today’s actors. What do I mean by this? Michael's integrity and humanity shown through his acting. When Michael cried, you'd feel like crying, and when he laughed, you'd feel like laughing and when he was tough, he was tough. Although Michael is well known for his extensive work on Bonanza, his work on Little House on the Prairie marked the ability to present himself as he wanted, using creativity in human issues such as drugs, rape, murder, theft, hate, and all those things and flaws that makes us all so human. And then there were those human elements such as love, family love and caring which most actors would not dare to attempt today. Everybody wants to be cool today, but nobody wants to truly touch an individual watching television the way Michael did. Through pure emotions. For this Michael is so more cooler than today’s pack of action heroes. Michael’s legacy from Bonanza to Little House on the Prairie to Highway to Heaven will always remain as a testament of his work. Work of quality and quantity based on human factors and beliefs without fear or compromise. To me this is what Michael Landon's work and legacy will be.

I will never forget Michael Landon as long as I live. If there was ever a person who made a difference in television, it was him. His work was wholesome, decent, and memorable. He left a legacy that will hopefully still continue on through his son. The Love Comes Softly series holds the same wholesome, decent values as did Little House and Highway to Heaven. Myself and my daughter were very saddened by Michael’s passing. When my Grandson was born the following year, my daughter named him Landon. There is not a doubt in my mind that God looked down and was happy with Michael’s work. This day and age, television is disgusting, vulgar and contains no family values.
I miss Michael Landon and I will never forget him!

I think of Michael Landon in relatedness. He was an awesome man. So many years have passed since he went away from us and I know Michael is now in heaven. From there he pays attention to his children and his wife.
