Michael Landon and the work he did in his life have meant so much to me. As I grew up watching Little House on the Prairie, I looked at Michael as a father figure. I grew up without a father, and so Michael Landon on Little House always gave me a sense of what a father should be like. Little House always gave me great comfort. Michael Landon was a HUGE part of that. I would like to give my love to his wonderful family and I want to thank them for keeping his memory alive!
Thank you!

I just wanted to send a little note to be able to thank Michael Landon's family and to wish them well. I am a 39 year old that has had the pleasure of growing up with Michael on screen. I was able to see Bonanza, mostly in reruns, and had a huge crush on L'il Joe. By the time that Little House on the Prairie aired, I was an avid watcher. Every Monday night at 8:00 I was tuned into NBC, faithfully. Laura was only a couple of years older than me and I related well with her character. I admired Michael Landon as Charles Ingalls and the show, I believe, helped build my character. The lessons that Laura and Mary learned while growing up on the prairie were lessons that I could learn as a child growing up in the 70's, as well. Then came Highway to Heaven. Now a teen, I learned even more from watching their experiences and never watched a show in which I did not cry (I'm a very soft hearted person). Now that I am a mother of a 15 year old daughter, I have introduced my daughter Rachel to the reruns of Little House and she is loving them.
Michael Landon was a brilliant actor with wonderful morals and great life lessons taught on screen. I am thankful to have known him in so many different aspects of Hollywood roles. Thank you Michael, you are still missed.

It seems that I have been a fan of Michael's since the day I was born. What a legacy he left behind for his family, friends, and fans. I will never forget that Little Joe laugh, the sweet smile of Charles Ingalls, and the heartwarming lessons learned from Highway to Heaven. Michael entertained and thrilled his fans for so many years, and is still doing so now.
I felt a personal loss when Michael passed away, and still feel that way until this day.
Thank you to Michael's family for sharing your gifted husband and father with his fans. God Bless.
