Michael Landon was a wonderful person. I also grew up watching Bonanza, Little House on the Prairie and Highway to Heaven. Also was looking forward to the new series Us which unfortunately never happened past the pilot. He was such a great actor, writer, director and from what I have read friend and family man. I have purchased and read every book I can about him. My favorite was the one written by his daughter Cheryl, I Promised My Dad. It was heartbreaking to read what a horrible childhood he had. Also you can tell he loved his children more than life itself. My husband and I have become so obsessed with Michael that we have purchased almost all of his shows. We have all of Highway to Heaven, most of Little House on the Prairie and Bonanza. We watch them all the time and learn so much from them. What a truly remarkable man and even after all of these years he is still missed.

Michael Landon was a very talented man who really had and still has an influence on the way I live my life. When I was very young my brother and I would watch Little House on the Prairie every week and laugh or cry with the Ingalls. Now I have 2 children of my own and we watch the show together. In this day and age of so much violence and anger on the TV it is truly wonderful to be able to watch such a meaningful enjoyable show together. It is like a breath of fresh air. And Michael’s laugh is truly infectious! So although I never had the pleasure of meeting Michael he really has touched mine and my family’s life. God Bless You.

My name is Katja, I'm 24 and I live in a small village in Germany. From the first day I've seen Michael in Little House on the Prairie and Highway to Heaven I was in love with both of them. He always made me feel better when I felt bad. I know his character wasn't the same as his roles he used to play. His wonderful talent writing stories must be given by God; and so I don't think that he was a bad human but a good human. I wish you all that you'll find the peace and love and that you always keep a loving memory of Michael Landon.

I never met Michael Landon. I am an actor and Michael is one of my favorites. The way he played his characters in film was with such honesty. I admire that about him. Even though I never met him, I will carry his spirit and legacy in my acting work. Thank you!!
