I started watching Little House on the Prairie when it first came out. I am now 40 years old and I still watch Little House every day. I have collected videos and DVDs over the years. I am now and will always be a diehard fan of Michael Landon. He gave so much of himself through his TV shows. His death was a great loss to us all, all over the world. The world of television is not now nor will it ever be the same without him.
We love you and miss you, Michael! We will never forget you!

I literally grew up with Mike. I started watching Bonanza when I was 9. I always felt since I never missed an episode of Bonanza, Highway or Little House that he was like my big brother. Sometimes when I had choices to make in life I often thought to myself now what would Michael want me to do. I stayed out of a lot of trouble that way. He will always live on in my heart.

I was barely 4 when I remember falling in love with the man on the Pinto horse that played Little Joe Cartwright. I remember watching the Kodak commercials and remember him being a commentator for the Rose Parades. I was also always a fan of Little House on the Prairie and was waiting for his new series Us.
When he announced in April of 1991 that he was ill ... I prayed all the time for him. I remember I was putting my little boys down for a nap on July 1, 1991 when my husband walked in the door of our little house and told me that he had died.
I was so sorry to hear his son Mark died a while back also.
I have educated my now adult sons about his talent, bravery and life story (as well as his movies and TV shows). I really love the poem he wrote for the 1975 Little House episode “Remember Me" and always tell my kids that he said that.
May God Bless Your Family.
