Michael Landon was truly one of the most inspirational people I have ever met in my life. He loved life and had a unique honesty about the way he lived it. He cared about helping people very deeply. I met Michael performing at his charity event in Tucson, Arizona. He believed very much in his charity work and I'll never forget the day he auctioned off a prize car of his. As the bidding was going on, he was lamenting about how much he loved that car. He was asked, “Michael, why don't you sell another car that doesn't mean that much to you?"  Michael replied, "If you don't give until it hurts, then you are full of shit!” Michael was revered by all of the people whom he worked with because he always cared about them and treated them not only as co-workers, but friends whom he cared about. I will always have Michael in the back of my mind and in my heart. He was truly a very special individual.
